A big part of the reason I decided to start a blog was my participation in multiple Facebook Groups. Seeing how enthusiastic everyone was and their results gave me hope.
I launched it in July because I became part of a collaboration with other beauty and fashion bloggers and I wanted to participate in all the steps of this fab collab. Plus, I am a long life procrastinator so I felt like a collaboration might be the kick in the a** to help me take a step forward. The name is one that I really like: Beauties on Fire, #beautiesonfire. Being part of something like this is great so far and I like that, even though I only blog for 1 week, I found some belonging.
Each collaborative post will have a specific team that will be chosen by our readers on twitter through a poll.
The mini-interview for the collaboration
1.) Tell us a little about your blog and why you decided to start blogging
I have an ongoing love for makeup, skin care and all things beauty since I was a teenager. Some years back I discovered the beauty blogging world and I got hooked. I started reading a lot of them. In the end, after procrastinating forever, I decided to launch my own blog so I can share with the world my thoughts, experiences, and reviews.
2.) How long have you been blogging?
I published my first post on Sunday night (CET). So a real newbie here.
3.) Do you consider yourself a fashion blogger, beauty blogger, or both?
I consider myself a beauty blogger. I love following fashion blogs but my expertise in that domain does not exist at all.
4.) List 3 things you love to do besides blogging.
I love reading (blogs, books, magazines), writing and self-makeup.
5.) What style of makeup do you enjoy the most: Natural, Trendy, Glamorous? Also, what is one beauty product you can’t live without and why?
I like natural makeup on myself and trendy makeup on others. Sometimes, if the trends are in line with my style I could say I wear trendy makeup but that is as far as I go. Unfortunately, my talent in taking photos of makeup (mine or others’) does not exist so probably you won’t see this kind of photos on my blog too soon. One beauty product I can’t see myself surviving without is the foundation. My skin gets irritated and my face starts looking awful if I don’t wear it.
Like any serious collaboration we have a logo:
