Clarins Instant light Natural lip perfector review

Clarin Lip Perfector Natural review

I have another review for today. This time around the product I chose is not a budget-friendly one but it’s a perfect fit for summer. Or… if you have a stingy beauty addict in the family who’s birthday is coming and you have no idea what to get them this is a perfect gift as well. If you feel like splurging… there you go: Clarins Lip Perfector.

CHARACTERISTICS of the Clarins Instant light Natural lip perfector

Official Description: Part make-up. Part skincare. One lip-loving formula! All the colour-shine of a gloss—with treatment benefits your lips will feel good about. Acacia micro-pearls and vegetable waxes nourish, protect, soften and plump. Soothes the senses with a delicate vanilla scent. Wear alone, or top off your lipstick for the glossiest lips around. (from here).

Texture: Gloss-like

Scent: It has a sweet smell to it but it does not last long.

Shade: 01 – Rose Shimmer. Transparent one applied

How it applies on the lips: You can apply it easily because it has a little sponge with holes in it and it applies evenly to the lips.

How it looks on the lips:  It looks like a very hydrating balm.

Longevity: It lasts on the lips for about two hours and it leaves them hydrated.

Results: I have very dry lips regardless of the season and this product helps them look ok-ish even on the worst days.

Pros: I love how it makes my lips look. It’s like 2 in 1: both lip balm and lip gloss.

Cons: The price.

Price: 25 $, 18 £.

My opinion about the Clarins Instant light Natural lip perfector

It doesn’t need to be reapplied as often as a normal lip balm. I like it a lot and I use mostly in the morning. It was a gift. Given my current budget, I do not think I will repurchase, BUT if it fits the budget reserved for cosmetics I would not give it a second thought.

Lip Perfector is the perfect name for what this product does for me.

    1. Yeah, that price tag is what keeps me from buying a new one just yet. But it is on my list
