Argan Color hair mask from Kallos: a review

I am sure that all the women with thin hair know this: you need a hair mask. You can live without one but it will be quite obvious you don’t use it, especially if you dye your hair.

A good hair mask makes all the difference in the world. It adds more hydrating and nourishing ingredients to your routine. Its effect is a lot more visible if you follow the instructions on how to use it. That is the case because most hair masks advise you to keep your hair soaked in it for at least 15 minutes.

I use a hair mask at least once a week, therefore I tried quite a few. This week I am making a review of my favorite one: The Argan Color Hair Mask from Kallos.

Characteristics

Official Description:  Intensely nourishes the fiber for long-lasting protection of color treated hair. Its precious ingredients restore hair’s vitality and silkiness.

How I use it: I wash my hair twice, I rinse it thoroughly, I dry it a bit  a towel, put the mask on, catch my hair in a bun and I continue my shower which usually lasts 20-30 minutes. When I’m in a hurry, I use it as a conditioner. I keep it on for 2 minutes and it has the same effect of any conditioner.

Scent:    It’s a sweet smell, like milk candies. Unfortunately, the scent does not remain after you wash it off.

Colour:  White

Texture:  A combination between cream and hair conditioner. Please take a look at the photo for a better idea:

How it applies to the hair: It glides easily. A little goes a long way.

Longevity: If you use constantly and from the beginning (before your hair is damaged) the results last. If your hair is really damaged you will see result only when you use it.

Results:  The hair is hydrated, shiny and smooth. If it’s very damaged it makes it look somewhat healthier and helps to hide the dry ends. If you have long, thin hair it tends to weight it down.

Pros: It hydrates the hair, makes it look smoother.

Cons: If you have long hair tends to weight it down. The scent doesn’t remain on the hair. If used on the roots as the hair will become greasy sooner.

Price: For the 1l package it’s approximate: 7GBP, 80Kc, 17RON , (USA 29,95$), 8,80EUR

My thoughts:

If you feel like you hair is not as healthy as it should be, it is dehydrated and you tried all sorts of shampoos and conditioners with 0 results you have to try a hair mask. There are a gazillion you can choose from all promising different things. I found this mask through a friend.

I found this mask through a friend. She had shiny and healthy hair although I knew for sure it was dyed. I asked what hair products she uses and she recommended me this hait mask. I bought it and didn’t feel the need to try any others until I’ll finnish it.

Do you use hair masks? Why/why not? Did you try this one? What did you think about it?

PS: As you can see the official name is “Colour hair mask”. I used the word “color” in the post as it will be easier for the interested persons to find the post when searching on the web.
